Cookie Policy of QUOTATIONIA

Last updated: October 2026

Thank you for visiting QuotationIA (hereinafter, "QuotationIA," "we," or the "Company") and for reviewing this Cookie Policy (hereinafter, the "Policy"). This Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them on the website www.quotationia.com (hereinafter, the "Website"), and what options are available to Users regarding their management.

QuotationIA's Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal data that may be collected through cookies. Certain capitalized terms used in this Policy have the meaning given to them in the Privacy Policy. This Cookie Policy is an integral part of the Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies and Why Do We Use Them?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on visitors' devices to remember information. They help websites function properly and provide a better user experience.

In addition to cookies, there are similar technologies such as pixel tags, web beacons, device identifiers, or local storage that work in a similar way and, for the purposes of this Policy, are also considered "cookies."

At QuotationIA, we use cookies to:

  • Provide and protect the Website
  • Remember User preferences and settings
  • Personalize content and browsing experience
  • Enable secure login to User Accounts
  • Analyze Website usage and performance
  • Prevent fraud and improve security
  • Display relevant messages and advertising based on User interests

We only use cookies that are essential for our service to work, except where otherwise noted.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

Essential / Strictly Necessary Cookies (No Consent Required)

  • Guest User Sessions
Purpose: Remember anonymous visitors who create proposals before registering.
What it does: Allows users to return and access their proposals for up to 7 days.
Why essential: Core functionality — users would lose their work without this.
    Duration: Maximum 7 days.
  • User Authentication & Login
Purpose: Keep registered users securely logged in.
What it does: Remembers login status and provides access to user accounts.
Why essential: Required for users to access their dashboard and saved proposals.
Duration: Until user logs out or browser session ends.
  • Website Security
Purpose: Protect against unauthorized access and cyberattacks.
What it does: Prevents malicious users from performing actions on behalf of legitimate users.
Why essential: Legal and security requirement to protect user data.
    Duration: Session-based.

Account Authentication

User accounts, passwords, and login sessions are managed directly by QuotationIA's own authentication system. No external identity provider is used, except for the optional Sign in with Google described below.

Third-Party Essential Services

  • Google (Sign in with Google)
    Service type: Optional account sign-in.
What they handle: Authentication of users who choose to register or sign in with their Google account.
Data involved: Name, email address, and profile information the User's Google account shares.
Why we use them: Offers a fast, secure sign-in option for users who prefer it.
  • Stripe (Payment Processor)
Service type: Payment and subscription management.
What they handle: Credit card processing, subscription billing, payment security.
Data involved: Payment session information, subscription status.
Why we use them: Industry-standard payment processor required for secure transactions.

Advertising Measurement (Require Consent)

Google Analytics 4 (Require Consent)
Purpose: Measure Website visits and usage. Google receives analytics cookie identifiers, IP and device/browser information and visited page paths. Our page-view events exclude proposal content, account identifiers and URL query parameters. Analytics starts only after “Accept” in the existing cookie banner, in every region. You can withdraw consent through “Cookie settings” in the footer without losing access to the service; visits made without consent are not replayed.

A secondary Google Ads conversion measures clicks on the upward-arrow generation button in the proposal writing interface, not the landing-page buttons or successful document completion. No proposal content, customer identifiers or monetary value are included. It uses the same advertising choice; blocked clicks are never replayed. A local session record references the click time, region and advertising consent record.

  • Google Ads (Google tag, gtag.js)
Service type: Advertising measurement and conversion tracking.
What they handle: Measurement of visits to the Website coming from Google Ads campaigns, of ad interactions (clicks and impressions), and of conversions such as completed sign-ups or subscriptions.
Data involved: IP address, device and browser information, pages visited and ad interaction data, processed by Google as the recipient platform.
Why we use them: To measure whether our advertising on Google leads to visits and sign-ups, and to improve those campaigns.
User control: In regions where consent is required, this service does not load until the User accepts cookies through the consent banner. Users can accept, decline or change their choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer, and declining does not affect access to any Website feature.

3. Cookie Duration

Purchase conversion events include an opaque Stripe checkout reference, the actual amount paid and EUR currency, but no email address, name or card details. They measure confirmed purchases and support Google Ads campaign optimization. Local storage retains the conversion reference with the visitor’s advertising choice, timestamp, region and notice version to prevent duplicates and replay of refused events. Advertising-cookie refusal also applies outside consent regions; previous acceptance evidence is retained when a visitor withdraws.

  • Session cookies: Temporary; deleted automatically when the browser is closed
  • Persistent cookies: Remain on the device until their expiration date or until manually deleted

4. User Rights & Control

  • Browser settings: Users can delete cookies through their browser at any time
  • Essential cookies: Cannot be disabled without breaking Website functionality
  • Advertising measurement: Users can decline while keeping full access to services, and can accept, decline or change their choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer
  • No impact on service: Declining non-essential cookies will not affect the User's ability to use our platform

5. Updates to the Cookie Policy

QuotationIA reserves the right to update this Cookie Policy at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last update" date at the beginning of the Policy. Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically to understand how and why we use cookies.
